I moved into my apartment on friday. Its so big and wonderful. My roommates are cool the girl is a bartender so she is out most of the time, and the guy is French and i mostly cant understand him when he speaks. THANKS TO NICK< CHANEL AND KARA, i was able to cheaply move ALL of my items from Manhattan to Brooklyn by way of subway. It was intense and my shoulders still hurt from carry crates up and down stairs. But im settled in and its super nice, and big.=)
My last class is monday then a WHOLE month off before i start summer classes. Father says i need a job. i have a big massage chair and nick is enjoying it way to much. OK nevermind. Just thought you should know i moved in good and great. so come visit.

I have been in such a bad mood today.
Dawns voice is Cheering me Up. She is squealing about a Coconut
Im going to See the Decemberists 3 times this coming week. That will turn my frown upside down.
Uh. I wish someone would entertain me...Sigh. im too needy.

Quick update about MY life in the CITY
--classes have started, and they are actually quite challenging, i must admit i do enjoy them
--I escaped the world of art stress, friends, and boy frustrations today and spent my afternoon at the MET. I engorged myself in art, seeking some answer to all my confusion. Unfortuntely i found nothing. it was quite lovely either way.
--Me, Nick and Steve followed the two spotlights 60 blocks to ground Zero. Steve has a good sense of direction.
--I have run out of fruit and tea. YIKES!
--Another week of classes is approaching, i have lots of laundry and very little sanity.

I have been feeling abit Lonely here in the city. Youd think with all those people, how could i be feeling lonely? School seems to be very exclusive, people are hermits, and i have made minimum friends. (Though i really enjoy the ones that i have made mind you). I guess i feel alittle lost in the crowd, but im trying to make the best of things, i mean this is NEW YORK CITY my options are endless right?
Tonight i escaped the land of pretentious art kids and headed downtown to the Xiu Xiu concert, where i could see a fimilar face... LISA. I also had a chance to meet her friends Justin, Jackie and Jackies boyfriend Joe. They were all very nice people. The show was great, and very calming after a frustrating day.
So that was my angsty entry about my life here.
PS, my room is tiny. But i have a nice view and a COMFY BED. So life aint all that bad. :-)

Its been a very rough day. Went to Summerstage with the intentions of seeing my beloved Decemberists, got fake tickets, sold them off. Bad vibes forced us out of central park and down to Chinatown. Ice Cream Saves. Back to Central Park with no Decemberists AT ALL IN MY VEINS. Kind of up set. Death Cab was bad. In a very bad mood, went for a walk Near the Stage. Snuck in. And manged to get a few minutes of this Mans time

My trip to the city today proved to be a HUGE smack in the face. I guess i have been a tad ignorant towards the realities of the art world.
I cried a little. Im not a very strong person.
After my sob period ended i managed to cheer myself up. I checked out my new room which will be tiny tiny but MY OWN.
Tomorrow is Decemberists in the City. I dont have a Ticket , Hopefully i can find a decently priced scalped one. ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) belisha_beacon and Friends are having a picnick outside of the concert if i can not find a ticket. Therefore life is good.

Apparently some of the pople i thought were good friends have shown themselves to be petty immature people. Losing them has slowly become something of a burden more then it is upsetting to me. I am finally calming down from the whole situations only to find one deviously trying to ruin one of my better friendships. Is there a reason why they must try and ruin my good friendships? Perhaps because of how unsatisfied they are with their own. Was i really that bad of a friend to begin with?
I think i will be a hermit these last days i have in New Paltz, for i will not miss you AT ALL.

July 4th was spent in the city attending a free concert in Battery Park. We enter the site of the concert about 30 minutes before it was going to start. The line had to be a mile long, if not longer. Some how we manged to sneek around the line and go directly through the gates where we proceed to front row center. We are some lucky kids.
The first Act was Laura Cantrell. She was a folk-country singer.
Next, my Personal favorite of all the acts was Stephen Malkmus and the Jick. The sun was beating down and we grew very dehydrated. Stephen through us his water bottle. He signed it after the show, i also snaged myself a set list.
Stephen MAlkmus" I noticed you singing the words, you helped me remember my own lyrics"
Sam "Thats what i am here for"
It turns out the Drummer from the Jicks is also the Drummer from the Decemberists Concerts. He remebered us. We Rock.
The Last Act was Yo La Tengo
He started going crazy during the first song.
It was a great show, especially for free.

Decemberists Show Number two. Once was not good enough i had to go to the show in Brooklyn.
I mean how can you resist this face? 
 It was awesome, and John, the Drummer got a set list changed so they would play Billy Liar at the request of a sweet note prepared by ME. I felt so honored they remembered us.
